Dr. Eugene Kholmovski is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Utah and has over 18 years of experience in the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). He got PhD in Medical Physics at the University of Utah in 2002 and has since, been an integral part of the Utah Center for Advanced Imaging Research (UCAIR). He has worked extensively on the development of MRI techniques for imaging of the left atrium for the management and treatment of patients with atrial fibrillation. Dr. Kholmovski’s main areas of research are cardiac MRI, interventional MRI, MR angiography, image reconstruction and image processing techniques.
