Dina Labib, MD is a lecturer of Cardiology at Cairo University, Egypt. She is primarily interested in non-invasive cardiology, including echocardiography (transthoracic, transesophageal, and speckle tracking echocardiography), peripheral vascular ultrasound, and cardiac MRI. She received her training in cardiac MRI in Duke University, North Carolina between 2014-2016, and is level III SCMR certified. Subsequent to obtaining a master’s degree in medical statistics from Sheffield University, UK, she is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Calgary, Canada, with a focus on cardiac MRI-based risk prediction modelling to predict cardiotoxicity in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy.
