Antonella Meloni received her Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2007 from the University of Pisa, Italy. In 2011 she obtained her PhD in Automatic, Robotics and Bioengineering at the University of Pisa.
Currently she is a Post-doctoral fellow at the CMR Unit, FTGM Research Hospital in Pisa, Italy. Her research is focused on the use of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging for the study of patients with Iron-overload syndromes.
She obtained for 6 months a Post-doctoral Research Fellowship in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, California and she collaborated with the Berlin Ultrahigh Field Facility B.U.F.F, Max-Delbrueck Center for Molecular Medicine, Berlin, Germany.
Dr. Meloni presented her research at international conference meetings and workshop and she is author of more than 50 peer-reviewed articles.
