Xinheng Zhang earned his bachelor's degree in basic medical sciences at Zhejiang University and master's degree in biomedical imaging at University of California, San Francisco. He started his postdoctoral studies in bioengineering at UCLA in 2017. In the same year, he joined the Dharmakumar Lab. His current research interests are novel techniques in MR image post-processing and pulse sequence programming.
