Dr. Shihua Zhao is the Chief physician, professor, director of MRI in Fuwai Hospital and Fellow of ACC and ESC. He holds a leading position in both cardiovascular diagnostic imaging and interventional therapy in China. He authored and co-authored more than 300 publications in top peer-reviewed journals in his field. He also works as an editorial member in more than 20 journals in China and abroad. Due to his contributions to cardiovascular imaging, he and his team have won science and technology achievement awards given by the Chinese government and non-governmental academic organizations 7 times. To honor his achievements, he was awarded the Gold Medal from the Asian society of cardiovascular imaging in 2015.
