Dr Felicia Seemann received sher MSc in Engineering Mathematics in 2013 and earned her PhD in Biomedical Engineering in 2019 from Lund University (Lund, Sweden). Since 2020, she has been a postdoctoral fellow at the MRI Technology Program at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI).
Her research focus is on the development and experimental validation of novel MRI methods for assessment of hemodynamics and physiology, with a current emphasis on cardiopulmonary applications for high-performance 0.55T MRI systems. Dr. Seemann has received seneral scientific awards for her research, is a Junior Fellow of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, a fmember of the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance.
