Sachin Aggarwal is a third year medical student at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Originally from London, United Kingdom, Sachin was raised in Houston, Texas. He attended Johns Hopkins University where he studied biomedical engineering prior to entering medical school. At Vanderbilt, Sachin has been involved in congenital heart disease and cardiac magnetic resonance research and is also one of the Student Executive Directors of Shade Tree Clinic, a student-run free clinic. His career interests are to pursue an internal medicine residency and ultimately cardiology fellowship. Outside of medicine, Sachin enjoys watching and playing all sports, especially soccer.
