Tony Fuisz is the director of advanced cardiac imaging at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla NY. He has been an active member of the Cardiac MRI community and the SCMR for over 20 years. He received his undergraduate degree in Physics and MD degree from Georgetown University. He did his residency at OHSU and cardiology fellowship and cardiac MRI training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham under the direction of Dr. Gerald Pohost. He subsequently joined the UAB faculty as the Clinical Director of Cardiovascular MRI.
Tony next started the CMR program at Washington Hospital Center in Washington DC and grew it into a busy CMR program over 15 years. He moved from WHC to Westchester Medical Center in 2015, and remains involved in MR research, teaching and clinical cardiac MRI. Tony and his colleagues provide cardiac MRI exposure and training for radiology residents, cardiology fellows and technologists, cardiologists and radiologists interested in Cardiac MRI from around the world.
