Yue-Hin “Tom” Loke, M.D. is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist specializing in Advanced Cardiac Imaging at Children's National Hospital in Washington, D.C., and assistant professor of pediatrics at George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Since residency, he has been involved in research with the 3D Cardiac Visualization Laboratory (3DCVL) and is its current director. He is an ardent supporter of incorporating 3D imaging into patient education and clinical practice, and the use of 4D flow imaging in complex congenital heart disease. His primary interests include 4D flow/3D modeling of congenital heart disease, and the use of advanced flow biomarkers/computational fluid dynamics to investigate pathophysiology and guide therapy. He is an avid Star Trek fan and father of two future Trekkies.
