Dr. Jason Johnson is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Cardiology) and Radiology (Pediatrics) at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He is the Associate Chief of Pediatric Cardiology and the Director of Cardiac MRI at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. He is Deputy Editor for the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Cases of SCMR. His clinical and research interests involve cardiovascular disease processes in children where CMR makes a difference in diagnosis and outcomes. Dr. Johnson also has expertise in transthoracic, transesophageal, and fetal echocardiography. He is an expert in echocardiographic guided bedside transcatheter PDA closure in extreme low-birth weight infants.
