Brian Halliday is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College and a Consultant Cardiologist at Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals, Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust where he specialises in Cardiomyopathy and CMR. He is also a BHF Intermediate Fellow. His research and clinical interests focus on the management of patients with cardiomyopathy and cardiovascular magnetic resonance to improve treatment stratification. He aims to develop patient-centred treatment using targeted therapies and strategies guided by disease characterisation. He has a particular interest in randomised clinical trials and the concepts of myocardial recovery and remission.
