In this workshop, students will learn how to make the versatile and charming orange peel block. Do you enjoy curved piecing but hate all the fabric waste? Then orange peels are perfect for you! We will learn a minimal-waste method of cutting fabric for piecing, then we will focus on sewing perfect curves without stress. If you are comfortable with straight edge piecing and want to expand your repertoire to the wonderful world of curves, this workshop will give you plenty of practice. Students will leave the workshop ready to take on any project with curves, including orange peels – the pièce de résistance of curved piecing! Sewing machines provided!
