We got Maxine April 17, 2020 during the pandemic. She makes me feel better. She sleeps with me, snuggles with me, and I train her on Saturdays with Wonder Dog. She has inspired me to draw, paint, sculpt and sew her image. I would like to whittle her next. For this quilt, I pieced her with strips of cloth and machine quilted Ms for Memphis (where I’m from) and Maxine.
