I am in first grade and I love flowers and dinosaurs!! Tyrannosaurus Rex is my favorite dinosaur. --Julia Benediktson. Julia drew the idea for the quilt, picked the fabric, drew and cut out the flower pieces, helped her mom glue the pieces down, quilted the quilt (but her mom operated the sewing machine pedal), stitched the binding pieces together, and stitched the binding down on the back by hand. Her mom cut the background fabric, stitched each piece down where Julia glued them, trimmed the finished quilt, cut the binding strips, and machined sewed the binding to the front of the quilt.
