(NGS012) Tetrapacked

This is one of three quilts I produced for a 2022 exhibition called 'The Before Times' at the Wangaratta Art Gallery in Victoria, Australia, which was curated by Tara Glastonbury (@stitchandyarn). Each quilt uses a limited palette – with each pair of quilts sharing at least three colours – and a single shape. Tetrapacked uses only squares for the main design feature. Using the background colour as one of the block colours introduces some negative space; the design feels like it could be a piece of lacework or crochet sitting on a bright yellow surface.
