Minimalist design with one broken curve winding its way across the two tone background. I I created this improvisationally by draping the fabrics at the design wall with no pre planning or templates. designed in angles and pinch points so that the draped prints make interesting interactions with the background. The tension created fits with the recent years of stress where we've been crushed by periods of darkness relieved by intermittent hope. It's entirely pieced - there is no applique. Cotton fabric, cotton batting. Matchstick quilted on my longarm. Pieced and quilted with Aurifil thread.
