Plowy McPlowface began in an improvisational quilting class taught by Irene Roderick. I challenged myself to make something that appealed to my personal style when assembling the improv units, which eventually resulted in an abstract piece of heavy equipment. The colors used are low in contrast (try a black and white photo!), so the bright pink and navy blue quilting thread help to differentiate the snowplow and background..
