The KC Modern Quilt Guild's Kona Color of the Year Challenge was the impetus for this quilt. My version used a large area of the Cosmos color and then I just improvised shapes for the base. The bias tape appliqué and the rectangles were added later. From afar, I could see a couple seated on a couch of Cosmos purple with a vintage lamp nearby.
