Basic drawing books often show rectangular grid with dots marking where thirds occur. These thirds are a placement suggestion for the focal point of a drawing. I pieced thin lines intersecting these points. Playing with the placement it was fun to see the lines create movement away from any focal point. I had very little of each of the fabrics in this quilt and enjoyed the challenge & sneaky piecing that entailed. Quilt is woven cottons, FPP, and machine quilted.
