I love pattern and repetition and order and symmetry, and the plaid delivers it all. As I was thinking about the name for this quilt, I kept thinking PLAIDTASTIC! as in FANTASTIC! So I googled the word Plaidtastic, and it is a thing! It is the name for a rubber upholstery that features bright colored plastic and is meant to be super durable. So there you go—fun and sturdy.
