The Aura series is focused on minimalist pieced rings of hand dyed fabric with an overlay of dense quilting lines. The texture of the vibrant hand dyed turquoise and royal purple is visible through the dense straight line grid quilting. From afar, it appears that multiple shades of each fabric were used, but upon close inspection, the viewer can see that each stitched line of neon thread begins to shift the single hue of fabric beneath.
