Pink Gumdrop was the second enlargement of a fabric sketch from Ohio Nine Patch. I was experimenting with value shifts and color gradations in each shape. The giant pink shape just reminded me of a gumdrop, hence the name. While I enlarged and elaborated the original sketch, I remained flexible so I could add and subtract patterning in the shapes.
