I started this quilt in the “Adventures in Improv Design” class taught by Anne Sullivan and Melanie Tuazon at Quiltcon 2021. We were challenged to create a narrative. This quilt is my improvisational exploration of how "being good" has changed me and my environment. The story follows me as I add layers of "good" protection in a society that values bright, happy, clean, and rigid structure. It’s a tragedy of a creation story and a call to rebellion.
