Northwest Arkansas Modern Quilt Guild Bentonville, Arkansas, United States
I recolored my mom's pattern with bright colors. I made it TO enter in my county Fair. It won Judges Choice and went onto the Arkansas State Fair. I found the machine quilting on the frame challenging as it was fast and I was afraid of messing up. I think I did pretty good. I have been sewing since I was 4 and like to create many items with my sewing machine. This quilt is my favorite quilt so far because of the colors, bright contrast with the black. I made this for my cats to love so picked wool batting their favorite. Also on the backing there is a stripe of fabric with cats on it. I did machine binding on this quilt, it wasn't too bad. I think I like hand binding better but I was in a rush for the fair deadline.
