My vision was to create an optimistic and dynamic quilt with this palette. I also wanted to incorporate all of the colors and make sure each contributed to the whole. Contrasting value creates dimension and movement, onwards and upwards across the quilt. Randomly placed contrasting colors to move the eye and create delight. All this is achieved using one simple block repeated in a five by five grid. The quilting emphasizes the diagonal movement up and across the quilt. I also incorporated a few more densely horizontal and vertical stripes to create texture and contrast.
