The Order of Chaos is based upon the life I led 24 hours a day, 8 days a week, caring for my mother until she passed in September. This is how cancer affected her, affected our family, and affected me, until it stole her from us. Our life became controlled by doctor appointments and hospital stays, and of course by metastatic lung cancer. My mom only survived three and a half months from the date of diagnosis. My husband and I made the choice for me to move in with my parents to care for them until my mom passed, and I am blessed to have had this time with her. I am still living with my dad to care for him. While our chaos is more subdued, it has been replaced with great sadness.
