Working in the IT industry, I’m constantly surrounded by images of technology. While designing this block, I was playing around with some flying geese shapes only to discover that the design resembled a circuit board. Or at least that’s immediately where my mind went as I continued to iterate on the block and the idea of a circuit board overtook the geese as the primary focus. The pattern remained just an idea until the QuiltCon Fabric Challenge was announced for QuiltCon 2023 and I knew that the fabrics chosen would make for a great color palette for this quilt.
