I had the honor in 2022 to design a block for the MQG, the Punch block. During that process, I spent a lot of time playing in Illustrator to create quilts with the block colorized one way. As it always happens, as I was trying to go to sleep one night, I had the idea to recolor the block to feature the background as the main element, and this design is the result of that experiment.
