Flipping, twisting, turning, falling…what a commotion! This modern quilt is inspired by of the concept of “quilts of illusion.” It was designed in Procreate and constructed entirely using the English paper piecing method. The same shapes are quilted into the background adding more dimension and interest. I used two layers of cotton batting and free motion quilted it on a domestic Bernina.
