This quilt is inspired by the homonymous film by Tim Burton, hence the reason why I use the color red gradient to yellow for the X's. In this quilt I wanted to explore the possibilities of the three dimensions in the plane. Through the use of complementary colors, depth and enhancement are achieved in the forms. For the piecing I have used 116 different blocks for a total of 258, which are HST mostly.
