Challenged to recreate a Quilt of the Month pattern from the MQG archives, I chose Steph Skardal's X-Canvas quilt. I made this in fabrics I love, and hand quilted it, and then couldn't give it up for the work project! I'd been thinking for a while about hand quilting in red on an olive green background. I love the utilitarian look, and the hand quilting makes this quilt super cozy.
