Spin Cycle is an evolution of several of my favorite quilt piecing topics—triangles, the grid, and the quarter log cabin block. I kept the units consistent, but I changed the scale within the same space which created some interesting results. This quilt reminds me of propellers, twirlers, pinwheels, whirligigs, and the spin cycle of a washing machine.
