I chose to work with an Ohio Star block for this quilt. This block is beautiful in it's simplicity. Consisting of just hourglass units and squares it creates many patterns and shapes within the block. I cut without a straight edge and improv pieced this quilt. The colors selected move across the quilt and create visual interest. I think that this quilt makes the Ohio Star shine.
