Zetus Lapetus is an original design by Matthew Friesz of TheQuiltyArchitect. The phrase “Zetus Lapetus” is an expression from a 90s movie that partially takes place in space. The phrase is used to express surprise and joy, a fitting expression for this spiral-galaxy-like design. The stars in this quilt feature all 30 colors of the Ombré Galaxy fabric line by Vanessa Christenson for Moda. The background is Bella Solids in off-white, also by Moda. The quilt is backed and bound with Speckled fabric in Dove by Rashida Coleman-Hale for Ruby Star Society.
