This quilt design uses a courthouse steps variation of log cabin blocks. The blocks are missing their bottom half on purpose as a reminder of the Supreme Court's recent extremely partisan decisions. Color is used to mingle the blocks into a secondary pattern. Tradition piecing with 2.5 inch strips was used throughout.
