Sometimes it’s good to just start a quilt with a color scheme you want to play with. This improv quilt started with a color scheme and grew piece by piece until it told me it was done. My 87 year old mom named this quilt. Techniques and approaches to improv quilting were learned from and fostered by Irene Roderick at a workshop this past summer.
