Flattering the strengths of each artist, the quilt circulated through the group for design, pattern drafting, hand dyeing the fabric palette, piecing, quilting, embroidery, and finishing; each maker laying their artistic mark on the finished piece. This collaboration, from the beginning, allowed each artist to add their touch to the design as the quilt changed hands over a seven month period. The final finishing was done by the pattern drafter, bringing the quilt, full circle.
