I had a lot of fun with this waterfall quilt. I got the pattern from the book SEWING SCHOOL QUILTS, however I changed it slightly, and added another column so I could do a full rainbow. I thought it would be fun for the quilting to have a splash at the bottom, and little bubbles and butterflies throughout the piece, so I drew a picture of my quilting design ideas, sent the drawing to Allie McCathren, and she quilted it for me on her longarm.
