This is an adaptation of the traditional double wedding ring pattern which has always been a favorite of mine. The twist comes from the modern setting incorporating white space which lets the quilting stand out. In keeping with the traditions of past quilters I “made do”, using the two shades of orange and blue interchangeably with each other or as two different colors.
