My quilt is inspired by my love of trains. I collected miniature trains when I was a child and am always fascinated by a big engine coming down the tracks. I learned the applique technique used in this quilt during a workshop by Sheila Frampton-Cooper. This technique allows the maker to draw out the design and use the actual size drawing to create the quilt.
