Improvising with black, white and primary colors, to me, it feels like drawing. Using fabric with text reminds me of writing with a pencil. Maybe this is the reason for the white background in my work. One of the text lines on top of the composition says: to go back to basics. This sentence acted as an inspiration source. Yes, using primary colors seems like using basic tools. But they are so powerful! Each shape becomes a character of its own. Even if the colors used are basic, a lot of personality pops out from each element, and the game creates so much fun. This work, indeed, was made during a game: the Primary Improv challenge promoted by Quilt Improv Studio, a group providing prompts based on collective choice on parameters to be used, and lessons learnt sharing, to appreciate together the beauty of improvisation.
