One of the quadrants of this quilt was originally created during the Medallion Madness workshop. It was going to be the center of the quilt, and I made a ton units to make up the rest of the quilt. I was, however, fascinated with the center. It was much more interesting to me than the rest of the quilt. The rest didn't have the same energy as those stripes in the very center. After leaving the workshop, I decided to duplicate the center and I'm so much happier with this quilt than the prospect of the original.
