Having recently retired with grown up "kids", it is Here that I find myself on my fabric path. This X is a representation of my life; as I travel merrily along I find myself at crossroads, sometimes rather unexpectedly as I usually think I know where I'm going. It's also where I can be found, working quietly in the shadows, with my hands, solving problems. Just a girl doing the best she can with what she has. All materials used were in my stash. Having been inspired by an image on Pinterest, I drafted, pieced, quilted, and embroidered this using old and newly learned techniques. I thought I could, so I did.
