One day while looking through my quilt design sketch book, I found this drawing I had done. I loved the look of it and it immediately inspired me to make it. The original sketch was done in white and black, but that combination was much too harsh for my liking. I prefer a much more subtle combination. It makes you look at it and really see the extra shapes within this piece.
