Inspired by the century old design elements of Bauhaus, I took classic block constructions and arranged them into a fun play on the original style, creating the illusion of the objects suspended in various planes, continuing the concept's theme of minimalism and play on geometric shapes. Much like the Bauhaus concepts, I think modern quilting perfectly combines functionalism with art and I love exploring this world where the two marry so beautifully.
