Tiger Tails was made during a Maria Shell curved piecing virtual workshop. I loosely used some of the guidelines that she provided, 3 shapes and some patterning. I made a sketch in Procreate and enlarged it to the desired size. I wanted to experiment with some duller and brighter colors in my amorphous shapes. They changed considerably from my sketch. I tried for the first time, a partial background layer, over which I inserted a variety of shapes. Naturally the orange undulating curves with black curved lines, screamed "Tiger Tails."
