I was inspired by the painting by Paul Klee “Lute Harmonisée” (1937) and sew my quilt interpretation of it. I used bright and intense colors to form impression of heat and patches of fields as seen from airplane window during flight. The quilt is dedicated to one of the dramatic and devastating events of nature - drought. It is caused by climate change resulting in raise of average temperature and reduction of rainfall which lead to soil depletion and extermination of life on our planet Earth.
