“ I am female, but I have talent” -Frida Kahlo I was moved to do this piece after I went to The World of Frida exhibit. (August 2022) It was a unique Frida inspired collection from artists around the world in a variety of mediums. There was so much talent and beauty in the pieces that were displayed. For me, Frida represents female empowerment, beauty, determination and life. She lived her life unapologetically, she was bold and passionate.I feel I was able to capture all of that and her essence in my piece.
