Vycki Nalls, GNP-BC, CWS,ACHPN, has been a geriatric nurse practitioner for 15 years working predominantly in long-term care, palliative care, and hospice. She received her BSN from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and her masters and PhD from University of Maryland School of Nursing. Dr. Nalls has presented nationally on palliative wound care and contributed written wound education for AMDA-the Society for PALTC Medicine, the Gerontological Advance Practice Nurses Association (GAPNA), and the Hospice Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA). She is a contributing author for chapters in the upcoming Advance Practice Palliative Nursing 2nd edition and Acute and Chronic Wounds 6th edition. She has served as a board member for the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC) and the Mid-Atlantic Medical Directors Association (MMDA). She currently serves on the board for the Post-Acute Wound & Skin Integrity Council (PAWSIC) and is co-director for the Futures Program with AMDA.
