Barbara Messinger-Rapport MD, PhD, HMDC, CMD, is a physician board certified in Internal Medicine; Geriatric Medicine; and, Hospice and Palliative Medicine, with additional certifications as a CMD and an HMDC. She is formerly Chair of the AMDA Education Committee and former President of the Ohio Medical Directors Association. She is currently a Market Medical Director with Landmark Health in the Greater Cleveland area, encompassing Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Youngstown, and Columbus, coordinating wrap-around care for older adults with multiple medical co-morbidities. In her spare time, she enjoys cycling, cross-country skiing, jogging, and reading.
